Abstract

Program vaksinasi menjadi salah satu prioritas pemerintah untuk mencegah penularan covid-19 dan menciptakan herd immunity (kekebalan kelompok) untuk dapat keluar dari Â pandemik. Lansia salah satu kelompok sasaran utama sebagai prioritas penerima vaksin. Pencegahan penularan melalui upaya vaksin Covid-19 dan booster terhadap Covid-19 bagi lansia menjadi prioritas, baik di tingkat masyarakat maupun di fasilitas kesehatan. Saat ini cakupan vaksinasi belum mencapai harapan, data menunjukan pada bulanÂ Agustus 2021 cakupan vaksinasi pada pendudukan Indonesia masih rendah. hasil wawancara dari petugas kesehatan penanggung jawab program vaksinansi puskesmas juata menjelaskan bahwa saat ini jumlah lansia yang di vaksinasi masih cenderung sedikit. Sebagian besar lansia maupun keluarganya belum mau di vaksin. Adapun tujuan pengabdian iniÂ memberikan sebagai Upaya Edukasi Kesehatan dalam Persiapan Vaksinasi Covid-19 pada Lansia. Dalam pengabdian ini melibatkan mahasiswa sebagai fasilitator untuk memberikan edukasiÂ kepada keluarga dan lansia. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini di laksanakan di wilayah kerja Puskemas Juata berlangsung selama bulan Agustus-September 2021. Kegiatan ini di harapkan lansia berpartisipasi dalam vaksinasi covid-19.Â
