Upaya Pencegahan Stunting di Daerah Pesisir

Abstract


Stunting merupakan masalah gizi kronis yang mempengaruhi pertumbuhan anak-anak di bawah usia tiga tahun, dan disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor risiko yang saling terkait. Upaya pencegahan stunting harus dilakukan secara komprehensif dengan fokus pada peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan ibu serta perbaikan lingkungan. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini menawarkan solusi pencegahan stunting secara terpadu yang meliputi enam kegiatan pokok yaitu: rembug stunting, penyuluhan tentang stunting, sosialisasi nilai gizi ikan, kerja bakti bersih lingkungan, dan sosialisasi, sosialisasi Teknik cuci tangan dan sikat gigi yang baik dan benar, dan demonstrasi pengolahan makanan berbahan ikan. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini berkolaborasi dengan mahasiswa KKN di Desa Tengkapak Kecamatan Tanjung Selor Kabupaten Bulungan. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bersesuaian dengan program kerja KKN sehingga pelaksanaannya menjadi lebih mudah, efektif dan efisien. Seluruh program kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dapat terlaksana dengan baik. Meskipun hasil kegiatan tersebut tidak dirasakan secara instan tetapi diyakini akan memberi dampak positif dalam pencegahan stunting bagi masyarakat dalam jangka Panjang
