PERILAKU PENCEGAHAN COVID-19 PADA PEKERJA KULINER

Abstract


Pada periode 2020 sampai 2021, wabah COVID-19 di Indonesia semakin mengganas. Penemuan kasus baru terus meningkat dengan lonjakan kasus tertinggi terjadi pada bulan Juli-Agustus 2021 yang mencapai angka lebih dari 35 ribu kasus dalam sehari. Lemahnya penerapan protokol kesehatan diduga merupakan faktor penting penyebab melonjaknya penemuan kasus baru, selain karena masih rendahnya cakupan vaksinasi COVID-19. Tempat makan mempunyai risiko penularan yang tinggi sehingga perilaku pencegahan yang dilakukan oleh pekerja kuliner mempunyai peran strategis menekan penularan COVID-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi sikap dan perilaku pencegahan COVID-19 oleh pekerja kuliner di Kota Tarakan. Penelitian ini merupakan kajian kuantitatif yang berbentuk cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian mencakup pekerja bidang usaha kuliner di Kota Tarakan dengan besar populasi yang tidak diketahui secara pasti. Besar sampel yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi 354 responden dengan teknik pengambilan secara purposive sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner yang memiliki Cronbach Alpha 0,84. Hasil kajian teridentifikasi  sebagian besar responden (84,5%) memiliki pengetahuan yang tinggi tentang COVID-19; 77,1% mempunyai sikap positif dalam pencegahan COVID-19; dan 64,1% mempunyai perilaku yang baik dalam pencegahan COVID-19. Hasil analisis korelasi Spearman Rho memberi gambaran adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan tentang COVID-19 dengan sikap pencegahan COVID-19, pengetahuan dengan perilaku pencegahan Covid, serta sikap terhadap perilaku pencegahan Covid dengan p<0,05. Kesimpulan penelitian ini: Perilaku pencegahan COVID-19 oleh pekerja kuliner di Kota Tarakan umumnya sudah baik, tetapi masih terdapat resiko penularan dari sebagian kecil pekerja kuliner yang abai dalam menerapkan protokol kesehatan.
