Pelatihan Teknik Nafas dan Yin Yoga Sebagai Penguatan Care-Giver Lansia Pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19

Abstract


Masa pandemi Covid 19 merupakan periode yang berat bagi seluruh tenaga kesehatan, termasuk didalamnya adalah care giver rumah lansia. Care giver dan lansia termasuk kelompok yang rentan terinfeksi virus Covid 19 akibat paparan stres fisik dan psikologis yang menurunkan imunitas tubuh. Kondisi ini dapat meningkatkan morbiditas serta mortalitas saat terinfeksi Covid 19. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan imunitas care giver lansia melalui kegiatan pelatihan teknik nafas sebagai salah satu kegiatan rehabilitasi pasca terinfeksi Covid 19 dan pelaksanaan yin yoga bersama guna menurunkan stres fisik dan psikologis yang dialami. Metode yang digunakan adalah hybrid learning, memadukan antara diskusi dan tanya jawab secara daring saat pemberian teori dan luring berupa pelatihan teknik rehabilitasi pernafasan dan senam yin yoga bersama. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah peningkatan pengetahuan care giver tentang teknik rehabilitasi nafas sebesar 30% dan seluruh care giver melaksanakan senam yin yoga bersama. Sangat disarankan bagi care giver untuk melakukan kegiatan olah raga fisik guna meningkatkan imunitas tubuh dan menurunkan kelelahan fisik serta psikologis.
