PENGUATAN KETAHANAN MENTAL MASYARAKAT DI DAERAH WISATA PESISIR MELALUI PENDEKATAN COMMUNITY-BASED STRESS MANAGEMENT
Abstract
Memperkuat kesehatan mental dalam masyarakat pesisir merupakan bagian penting untuk meningkatkan ketahanan masyarakat. Daerah pesisir sering kali menghadapi berbagai macam pemicu stres, termasuk dampak perubahan iklim, kerentanan ekonomi, dan keterbatasan akses ke sumber daya kesehatan mental. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengelola stress. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dimulai dari melakukan sesi mengutarakan perasaan dan masalah yang dihadapi saat berada di daerah wisata dan pesisir. Sesi selanjutnya dilanjutkan dengan menggali pengetahuan masyarakat terkait manajemen stress yang dilakukan. Kegiatan selanjutnya yaitu pemaparan materi tentang pengelolaan stres dan dilanjutkan dengan simulasi atau praktik pengelolaan stres yaitu relaksasi napas dalam, dan relaksasi otot progresif. Terdapat peningkatan kemampuan masyarakat setelah dilakukan edukasi dan simulasi. Penguatan ketahanan mental masyarakat di daerah wisata pesisir melalui pendekatan community-based stress management meningkatkan ketahanan mental masyarakat di daerah wisata dan pesisir pulau Derawan.
