Author Guidelines

INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTRUCTIONS
Manuscripts received must meet the following general criteria: the article makes a valuable contribution to the scholarship, the methodology used is explained in detail, so that other scientists can repeat the experiment. Conclusions are supported by data, short texts, well written and understandable.
The author is responsible for repairs (typos, spelling, terms, etc.) suggested by the Editorial Board and the manuscript is only published after the author sends back the corrected text (in print, email and CD). ) no later than two (2) weeks before the schedule is published and accepted by the Editorial Board.

MANUSCRIPT FORMAT
The manuscripts was uploaded and adapted to the standard J-PEN BORNEO : Jurnal Ilmu Pertanian format, Title, Author, Address and Email, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusions, Acknowledgments, and References. The length of the text does not exceed 14 pages of text with 1.5 spaces including tables and figures and attachments in A4 size paper (210 × 297 mm), in one column, Times New Roman font 11 pt (except Abstract, Keyword) and numbered rows. The margins on all four sides are 2 cm.

MANUSCRIPT TITLE AND AUTHOR
The title must be informative containing no more than 20 words. Clearly and concisely written that explains the contents of the study. The names of the main authors and joint authors (second author, etc.) are written in full (without abbreviations), including the institution / department / institution, address and email address of the author concerned clearly.

ABSTRACT AND KEYWORDS
Abstract in Indonesian and English. Brief research background, research objectives, research methods used, and conclusions. Provide a brief explanation of the results or findings. State the conclusion or recommendation and relate it to the significance of the study. The abstract does not exceed 200 words, does not contain references / references and is given keywords (five words or phrases arranged alphabetically). The abstract must be integrated and stand alone, containing the introduction, objectives, results, conclusions, and suggestions.

PRELIMINARY
Contains concise and clear information that contains the background and objectives of the study. Contains the background that underlies the research and mentions the previous research that has been done, the purpose of the study, the framework and literature briefly, as well as the approach used related to the problem under study. The author uses the name and year.

MATERIALS AND METHODS
This section explains in detail and clearly but in brief the location and time of the study and the materials used. The method used is clearly and systematically written, including analysis, treatment, statistical design or research design used.

RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
The results and discussion must be written in the same section. Explain continuously the beginning of the main results to support the results and complete with discussion. The unit of measurement used follows the applicable international system. All images and tables in the script must be active and can be edited by the editor.

CONCLUSIONS AND SUGGESTIONS
Conclusions are clearly written.

THANK-YOU NOTE
Explain the source of funding and the parties providing the funds, including the names of people who helped in the research.

REFERENCES
The requested library writing system is writer-year. All references described must be listed in the bibliography and arranged from the oldest to the most recent and from A to Z. Articles have references in the last 10 years or more and 60% are journals. Most references are the main source (last five years). Unpublished data and personal communication cannot be cited as literature, but are given in the text in paragraphs. Articles "in the press" that have been accepted for publication can be quoted in the bibliography. Includes journal citations where articles "in the media" will appear and the time of publication, if time is available.
