PENANAMAN POHON DAN SOSIALISASI PENGGUNAAN QR CODE KEPADA WARGA SEKITAR WANADESA SENDANGADI, MLATI, SLEMAN, YOGYAKARTA

Abstract

ABSTRACT

Wanadesa is an environmental conservation area which includes a form of optimizing the use of village cash land through planting, plant enrichment, adding plant species and / or developing them. Wanadesa which is the location of community service (PkM) is Wanadesa Sendangadi, Kapanewon Mlati, Sleman Regency which has potential attractions of educational forests with various types of trees, including rare plants. The purpose of this PKM is to help the Government of Kalurahan Sendangadi develop wanadesa into an educational tourism forest through planting activities and socialization of QR code-based information systems for the introduction of wanadesa constituent tree species. The implementation method is the PkM INSTIPER Yogyakarta team making a QR code with the  Kalurahan Sendangadi Government team  and socializing how to use it through counseling about biodiversity in this 4.0 era through the preparation of plant identity information with a QR code as well as enrichment of its type. PkM will be held from August to October 2023. The types grown as enrichment types are Ulin (Eusideroxylon zwagerii), Mersawa (Anisoptera marginata Korth.), Walikukun (Schoutenia ovata Korth.), Gondang (Ficus variegate) and Dlingsem (Homalium totemtosum). This PKM activity has produced a QR code-based information system for the introduction of Wanadesa Sendangadi constituent tree species. All PKM participants can understand and practice scanning QR codes using their smartphones as a tool to identify tree species diversity.
