Authorship Criteria

Authorship Criteria

Authorship in Civil Engineering Scientific Journal (CESJ) is reserved for individuals who satisfy all of the following criteria: substantial contributions to the conception or design of the study, or the acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of data; participation in drafting the manuscript or critically revising its intellectual content; approval of the final version for publication; and agreement to be accountable for the work, including ensuring that concerns regarding its accuracy or integrity are appropriately investigated and resolved.

Contributors who do not meet all authorship criteria should be recognized in the Acknowledgments section, with their permission. The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all qualifying authors are included, that no ineligible individuals are listed, and that all authors approve the submission, author order, and final version for publication.

Any request to add or remove an author, or to change the author order after submission, must include a written explanation and written consent from all authors, including those being added or removed. Such changes are subject to editorial approval. The editor may suspend manuscript processing until any authorship dispute has been resolved.
