Evaluasi dampak program keluarga berencana (KB) terhadap kemiskinan di Indonesia

Abstract


Pengentasan kemiskinan merupakan tujuan pertama dari Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Program keluarga berencana (KB) merupakan salah satu pilihan yang dilakukan pemerintah Indonesia untuk mengurangi angka kemiskinan. Keberhasilan program KB perlu dijelaskan untuk memberikan informasi yang dibutuhkan untuk mendukung program pengentasan kemiskinan. Penelitian komprehensif yang berfokus untuk menjelaskan dampak program KB terhadap pengentasan kemiskinan di Indonesia masih terbatas. Teknik analisis data oldinary least squere (OLS) menggunakan data agregat yang mencakup 34 provinsi di Indonesia pada tahun 2010-2021. Program keluarga berencana berdampak negatif terhadap kemiskinan di Indonesia. Pengendalian jumlah rumah tangga miskin keluar dari lingkaran setan kemiskinan. Ada bukti kuat yang mendorong pemerintah untuk mengevaluasi program KB menjadi prioritas investasi pemerintah dalam pengentasan kemiskinan di Indonesia.
