NATURE OF MODEL (NoM) DALAM PEMBELAJARAN SAINS
Abstract
Materi pembelajaran sebagai salah satu sumber belajar utama bagi siswa di dalam kegiatan pembelajaran tidak bisa diabaikan dan perlu dipilih secara tepat, Model dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan sains siswa. Model yang digunakan tanpa pemahaman kuat justru akan menghambat pemahaman siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Nature of Model (NoM) dalam pembelajaran sains. Metode penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengolahan data berupa analisis deskriptif hasil studi literatur. Kemudian data dianalisis menggunakan tiga jalur yaitu kondensasi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian berdasarkan studi literatur yaitu Nature of Model (NoM) memiliki banyak kelebihan jika diterapkan pada pembelajaran sains. Nature of Model (NoM) dalam pembelajaran sains mampu membantu meningkatkan pemahaman, kemampuan berfikir dan kemampuan literasi sains siswa. Namun dalam menentukan model dalam pembelajaran sains haruslah tepat. Agar materi abstrak yang ingin tersampaikan tidak menimbulkan kesalahpahaman persepsi oleh siswa.
