Instrumen Literasi Sains dalam Pembelajaran Biologi
Abstract
Mahasiswa calon guru perlu memahami bagaimana mengukur tingkat literasi sains siswa. Pada kenyataannya, mahasiswa calon guru dan para guru masih banyak mengalami kesulitan dalam menyusun instrumen literasi sains yang efektif, valid dan reliabel. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memilih dan menelaah instrumen literasi sains yang telah dipublikasikan sebelumnya, dan menyajikannya agar lebih mudah dipahami dan diadaptasi oleh mahasiswa calon guru Biologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode literature review. Kriteria inklusi antara lain: 1) hanya penelitian yang membahas mengenai hasil pengembangan dan uji instrumen literasi sains yang telah dinyatakan valid dan reliabel; 2) dalam artikel memuat aspek dan subaspek serta indikator penilaian literasi sains yang jelas dan rinci, sehingga memudahkan untuk diadaptasi. Berdasar hasil literature review, instrumen literasi sains yang dapat mudah dipahami dan diadaptasi oleh mahasiswa calon guru, terutama pada pembelajaran biologi yaitu Test of Scientific Literacy Skills (TOSLS) dan Scientific Literacy Assessment (SLA)
